 The Altar Guild & Beautification Ministry is dedicated to creating a welcoming, reverent, and beautiful worship environment that honors God. This ministry prepares and maintains the altar and sanctuary for worship services and special occasions while overseeing seasonal décor, floral arrangements, and the overall appearance of the church. Through faithful stewardship and attention to detail, the ministry helps provide an atmosphere that enhances worship, reflects excellence, and warmly welcomes all who enter God's house. 

The Choir and Music Ministry exists to glorify God through spirit-filled worship that inspires, uplifts, and transforms lives in music and song. Rooted in excellence and guided by the Holy Spirit, this ministry helps create an atmosphere where hearts are open to receive God’s Word. Comprised of dedicated singers, musicians, and worship leaders, the ministry leads the congregation in meaningful worship through a blend of traditional hymns, contemporary gospel, and sacred selections—each offered with intention to encourage, heal, and draw believers closer to Christ.

Participation in the Choir and Music Ministry requires a commitment to a minimum of three monthly rehearsals, held on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. prior to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays. 

 The Communications & Media Ministry serves as the voice of Greater King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church by sharing the Gospel through effective communication, creative media, and digital outreach. The ministry oversees the church's website, social media platforms, livestreams, photography, videography, graphic design, worship presentation slides, announcements, publications, and promotional materials. Through engaging content and consistent branding, we strive to inform, inspire, and connect our church family and community while extending the message of Christ beyond the sanctuary. 

 The Deacon Ministry serves faithfully alongside the Pastor in supporting the spiritual and practical needs of the congregation and the broader community. Rooted in prayer, service, and stewardship, the Deacons assist in worship, care for members, and help advance the mission and vision of Greater King Solomon. Through their leadership, compassion, and commitment, they exemplify servant-hearted ministry and the call to serve God’s people with integrity and love.  This individual is selected by the Senior Pastor. 

 The Deaconess & Mothers' Ministry faithfully serves alongside the Deacons, Pastor, and congregation to support the spiritual and practical needs of the church. This ministry plays a vital role in preparing for and assisting with sacred ordinances such as baptism and communion, ensuring each service is conducted with reverence and excellence. With hearts of humility and devotion, the Deaconesses embody the spirit of care, service, and unity — helping to create a worship experience that honors God and strengthens the Greater King Solomon family. 

 The Hospitality, Bereaved & Culinary Ministry demonstrates the love of Christ through compassionate service, fellowship, and care for our church family and guests. The ministry warmly welcomes visitors, provides hospitality for church events, and ministers to families during times of bereavement by offering encouragement and practical support. In coordination with church leadership and volunteers, the ministry also plans, prepares, and coordinates food and beverage service for bereaved family repasts and other designated church functions, ensuring every gathering is conducted with dignity, excellence, and Christian love. 

 Evangelism Ministry is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through preaching, teaching, discipleship, and community outreach. The ministry equips and supports those called to ministry while encouraging believers to share God's love and message of salvation both within the church and throughout the community. 

 The Men's Ministry is committed to developing godly men who lead with integrity, faith, and servant leadership in their homes, the church, and the community. Through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, mentoring, outreach, and special events, men are encouraged to grow spiritually while building lasting relationships with one another. The ministry also promotes holistic well-being by providing opportunities for fellowship and wellness activities that support the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical health of men, equipping them to live purposeful lives that honor God. 

 The Mission Ministry is dedicated to demonstrating the love of Christ through compassionate outreach and service to those in need. The ministry seeks to meet both the spiritual and practical needs of individuals, families, and our church community by coordinating outreach initiatives, facilitating donations, and providing assistance to the less fortunate. Throughout the year, the ministry prepares and distributes Thanksgiving food baskets, organizes efforts to feed the homeless, and offers support to bereaved families through acts of care and encouragement during their time of loss. By partnering with the church family to serve others with love, dignity, and compassion, the Mission Ministry strives to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. 

 The Ushers and Greeters Ministry serves as the welcoming heart of our church, ensuring that every member and guest feels seen, valued, and warmly received from the moment they arrive. With smiles, kindness, and a spirit of excellence, this ministry helps create an atmosphere of hospitality and order throughout the worship experience.

Greeters play a vital role in extending a visible welcome by holding welcome signs prior to worship and must arrive each Sunday by 10:45 a.m. to prepare for service.

 The Women's Ministry exists to encourage, equip, and empower women to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ while fostering meaningful connections with one another. Through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, outreach, and special events, women are inspired to live out their faith with purpose and compassion. The ministry also promotes whole-person wellness by hosting activities focused on spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being, including wellness retreats, self-care experiences, and educational workshops. Together, women are strengthened to serve God, their families, the church, and the community with grace and excellence. 

  The Worship Production Ministry is dedicated to supporting an excellent and distraction-free worship experience by providing the technical elements that enhance both in-person services and online worship. The ministry manages and monitors audio for the sanctuary and livestream broadcasts, operates worship presentation software and media slides throughout each service, and ensures microphones, sound systems, and other production technology function seamlessly. Working behind the scenes with the Pastor, musicians, worship leaders, and Communications & Media Ministry, the team helps create an environment where the message of Jesus Christ can be clearly heard, seen, and experienced by all.
